It’s a busy day in West Virginia as our set crew crane in place part of the 45,000 sqft temporary classroom units for Summersville Middle School. The new complex will house students displaced by the massive June 2016 flooding in Nicholas County and surrounding areas.
Modular Classrooms headed to WV after flooding
After flooding in June, FEMA has provided for new modular classrooms to be constructed in Nicholas County, West Virginia. Modular Genius will deliver over 45,000 square foot of temporary classroom space for Summersville Middle School, giving the students a safe and comfortable place to learn while the middle school undergoes repair and maintenance.
Modular Genius visits Lady Liberty!
From Glacier Bay, AK to Liberty Island, NY – Modular Genius is a small business that is going places! Installation has begun on a temporary office and locker room complex at Liberty Island, supporting the National Park Service during renovations to repair storm surge damage caused by Hurricane Sandy. The amazing set crew from DLS Services, Inc. is just as proud as we are for the opportunity to help restore the island back to its full beauty!
Airport Office Trailer
[CHALLENGE]
A Maryland airport needed to replace an aging office trailer that no longer met the needs of the staff. The new modular building needed to be self-contained and self-sufficient with ventilation, heating, air conditioning and lighting.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 60’ x 14’ prefabricated office trailer, including wooded ADA steps and ramps. A large open area in the building provided room for cubicles; new restrooms and additional storage space allowed employees to work in comfort. The project was completed in 90 days.
Temporary Prototype CT Scanner Building
[CHALLENGE]
The National Institute of Health, in Bethesda Maryland, required space for a prototype Toshiba CT scanner. The temporary building had strict design guidelines in order to contain the weight of the machine and eliminate vibration.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 630 sqft prefabricated building to house the massive scanner. The unit is divided into three areas, the control room, scan room, and equipment room. The exterior was finished to match the existing buildings.
CBOC Emergency Modular Building
[CHALLENGE]
A Georgia community was in need of a temporary solution after the local outpatient clinic was shut down due to ongoing air quality issues.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 3,600 sqft clinic that is fitted to serve veterans physical and mental illnesses, and is also equipped with a pharmacy and laboratory. It is set to handle patients until the new replacement Greenbrier County VA Clinic is completed and activated.

Temporary VA Clinic Opens in WV
Modular Genius recently completed a Temporary VA Clinic in Greenbrier County, WV. This new modular healthcare facility will provide needed assistance for many veterans in the area while the permanent clinic is being constructed.
